Karin Welponer
Karin Welponer is a graphic designer who works in Hamburg and Bolzano. Her project was one of the most intriguing. It took her a long time to come to this point as she had tried many direction and styles before. Nonetheless, her tenacity and constant search for originality made it extremely enjoyable and inspirational to work with her.
The briefing to this project was set within a dystopic scenario: Vienna has been demolished by a meteorite strike. The people are raiding and looting. Therefore, the city government wants to start a campaign to regain peace in the city. Under these circumstances the designer only has limited resources to work. The tools consist of one computer, old magazines, a scanner and a photocopier/printer.
